The class will be led by TAA co-owners Chelsea Bryan and Sylvia Grace Crim, but we will still keep this a collaborative study and strongly encourage each student to participate. We will have guest teachers and auditors throughout the course.

We will work on the same scene throughout the course, building and enhancing each week.

CLASS UPDATE! The last class will be an ON Camera class. You will still receive footage but your tapes will be in a self tape format as opposed to the scene work you’ve seen in previous classes. This is will give students more on camera practice and ensure immediate footage delivery. It will be edited and sent to you to use as you wish; Actors Access, IG, pitch packages, etc.

Stephanie Bell, known as the Clown Mother of DFW, offers clown workshops in Dallas–Fort Worth rooted in Tepani’s Heartwork—a methodology that centers emotional honesty, embodied play, and authentic human connection.

These are not traditional clown classes focused on tricks or performance perfection. Instead, these workshops invite you to slow down, listen, and respond to what is actually happening in the moment. Through guided exercises, solo work, and ensemble exploration, participants learn how to trust themselves, take creative risks, and build meaningful relationships with an audience.

Stephanie’s teaching is known for being both deeply supportive and highly specific. She creates a structured, trauma-informed environment where participants feel safe to explore vulnerability, experiment with play, and develop their unique voice as a performer.

Workshops are available for individuals, artists, healthcare professionals, educators, community groups, and businesses. Each offering is customizable, adaptable to your space, and available for travel.

In addition to creative and performance-based exploration, these workshops are also powerful tools for organizations seeking team building, leadership development, emotional resilience, and presence under pressure. Participants strengthen their ability to adapt in real time, communicate more authentically, and stay grounded in high-stress or unpredictable situations.

Class runs THURSDAYS 4:30–6:00 PM for $175‍ with an optional Early Drop-Off (4:00–4:30 PM) for just $25 more

These classes are purchased in 4 week intervals but you can drop into the course any time it works for your family or by subscription. For example, if you sign up for October, miss November - you can still jump back into December without missing vital lessons. Each month will be designed by the new and returning students who sign up.
