Class 5 - On Camera From Stage to Film and Back
SEPT 20TH
In this three-hour workshop, we will cover the technical differences between stage and film work, visual vs performing arts, and simple techniques to assist in adjusting your approach. Whether you are a film actor craving the stage or a theater actor who has been constantly told you are "too big", this workshop will clarify the needs of both art forms.
Instructor: Kerry Cahill is an accomplished theater actor, winning multiple Big Easy Awards and holding a Bachelor's in Drama. She also boasts a twenty-year film career that includes projects such as The Walking Dead, The Thing About Pam, and most recently Matlock, with Kathy Bates.

We will also discuss the nitty gritty of hierarchy in film and theater, how it works, and how we can change it.
